Research Interests:
To understand the mechanisms behind idiosyncratic adverse drug reactions, specifically studying Trovafloxacin, an antibiotic whose use was severly restricted after 1999 due to incidences of sever liver injury and failure caused by the drug. Also investigating how episodes of inflammation can render an individual susceptible to idiosyncratic reactions using in vitro and in vivo methods.
