EITS Track: Toxicology

Education: B.S., Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/B.A., English, Michigan State University

Research Interests:
Investigating the toxicity of man-made and other environmental pollutants, specifically dioxin. Elucidating the effects of dioxin exposure in animals as a model for human response to exposure. My research focuses on dysregulation of fatty acid metabolism caused by dioxin exposure, and the mechanisms involved in expression of the fatty liver phenotype in exposed animals.
