*The Center for Integrative Toxicology presents postdoctoral candidate, Kyunghee Burkitt, Ph.D., University of Michigan, on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., in room 208 Biochemistry Building. Research Summary: Investigated mechanism which induces differential cisplatin sensitivity in head and neck cancer cells and testing whether histone deacetylase inhibitor, phenylbutyrate, could sensitize cisplatin-resistant head and neck cancer cells and also investigated mechanism underlying sensitization to cisplatin.
